This triple malt is catching the attention of the country's leading bartenders for its smooth and rich qualities, making it ideal for mixing as well as drinking in the more traditional way. As Charlotte Voisey, of London's Apartment 195 explains, 'the atractive name and bottle spark curiosity, and once explained, bring a smile to your face.'Rooted in malt whisky lore, Monkey Shoulder is inspired by and named in honour of the malt men at William Grant, who are among the few still to turn the malting barley by hand using a sheil (wooden shovel). Monkey Shoulder was a nickname given to a temporary injury some malt men occasionaly suffered many years ago as a result of repeatedly bending over whilst turning the malt. Thankfully, working practices have now changed and the condition no longer exists.Crafted in small batches of just 27 casks, Monkey Shoulder's smooth and and rounded taste has accents of malty sweetness, vanilla, marmalade and barley sugar. The iconic bottle design, complete with three brass monkeys - each representing one of the constituent single malts - on the bottle's shoulder, is sure to attract confident, liberal minded people with discerning taste and ensures it's not one to hide away in the drinks cabinet! | | SEE IT |

 | Usually dispatched within 1-2 business days (In-Stock) Deep, golden mahogany in colour with orange, marmalade and aromatic spice on the nose. Elegant and rich on the palate with concentrated citrus, Oloroso sherry with hints of sweet vanilla pod. An aftertaste of great complexity. The perfect spirit to tease the palate before dining. The exceptional richness of The Dalmore spirit benefits from slightly longer maturation than is typically practised in Scotland. So their youngest expression is bottled only after twelve years, rather than the more usual ten. Their Master Blender, with some four decades of expertise, has discovered that the complex spirit from the stills is too rich to be tamed by a single style of cask. He favours fusing together the sweet, vanilla rich whiskies from ex-bourbon barrels with the aromatic, spicy and dried fruits characters from sherry casks from Spain. In this, our entry level expression we have sought balance and richness by selecting malts in a 50:50 recipe - 50% from ex bourbon barrels and 50% from ex-sherry butts. | | SEE IT |

Distinctively sweet, rich and, some would say, famously smooth - The Naked Grouse is simply pure indulgence in a bottle. | | SEE IT |

Casks selected by world renowned Master Distiller, Jim McEwan.Limited period release. Bottled on Islay at 46% strength using Islay's legendary spring water, without colouring or chill-filtering. Bruichladdich's tall stills and sloor slow distillation produce the most sophisticated Islay whisky.Taste Descriptors: Passion fruit, pear, gooseberry, apple, apricot, butterscotch, sweet malted barley, vanilla and thyme. Layers of green fruits, citrus fruits and vanilla cream - the perfect aperitif.Such is the integrity of the bottling with it's well chosen casks that it can support a fair dilution with cool still spring water to reduce the alcoholic strength to the desired level - without losing any of the flavour.Created from 100% American oak Bourbon casks, this bottling replicates the layers of fresh fruit and creamy vanilla flavours associated with the 10, making it the ideal whisky to enjoy particularly before lunch or dinner - or just as an early evening dram. | | SEE IT |
 | Usually dispatched within 2-3 business days (In-Stock) The Island of Islay is renowned all over the world for its intensely powerful and charismatic Scotch whiskies. Black Bottle is totally unique in being created from whiskies from all seven of the famous distilleries on Islay. Its spiritual home is the Bunnahabhain distillery in the north-east of the Island.Black Bottle was created in 1879 by Gordon Graham and Co. based in Aberdeen. The three Graham brothers - (Charles Innes, Gordon and David) original business was tea but they switched their attention to whisky blending. Soon the popularity of the whisky spread through the East Coast fishermen who favoured it on long sea journeys.Black Bottle's name came from its original bottle design based on black German glass and echoing the traditional pot whisky still. In 1914, following the outbreak of war, production was switched to green glass as it is to be found today. Black Bottle has long been regarded as one of the smoothest and most balanced of the Scotch Whiskies. The skilful craft of blending only the finest malt and grain whiskies delivers a wonderfully balanced and whisky experience. Fresh and fruity on the nose it combines full, honeyed and delightfully smoky flavours that set it apart. The tasting experience is rounded off with a long and warming finish. | | SEE IT |

Many centuries ago, the Lord of the Isles ruled Scotland from the stronghold of Finlaggan Castle on Islay, but today it is malt whisky that legends are made of.There are eight malt distilleries on Islay, all are excellent but with many different flavours. | | SEE IT |

 | Usually dispatched within 1-2 business days (In-Stock) Laphroaig Malt Whisky is distilled in the Islay region of Scotland. Laphroaig (pronounced la-froyg) is one of the most distinctive of all malt whiskies. The distillery was built in the 1820s by Donald and Alex Johnson whose family name is still on the label. In 1847 Donald died in a somewhat bizarre accident after falling into a vat of partially made whisky ('burn't Ale').Laphroaig (Gaelic: The beautiful hollow by the broad bay) has its own peat beds on Islay. Its maturation warehouses face directly on to the sea.For many, it is an acquired taste, but one which rewards persistance. Its palate is smokey with a long aftertaste. | Usually dispatched within 1-2 business days (In-Stock) Located on the Orkney Islands, one of the northern most parts of Scotland, is the Highland Park distillery. Founded on this remote and windswept island in 1798, the distillery has, for more than two centuries produced a full flavoured, single malt scottish whisky. Made from the best Barley malted over peat fires; merged with the unique spring waters of the island; and aged in casks for twelve long years that shape its rare and very distinctive character. In 1888, James Grant, whose father was the manager of the Glenvilet distillery, became managing partner, and later owner of Highland Park. Its product retains much that is traditional, even original. It has its own floor maltings and peat beds (the peat is cut shallow to impart a light 'rooty' character) and two traditional peat-fired kilns. During malting a little heather is burned. The Highland Distillery has more than an affinity with the West Highlands in its flavour than with the palish, fragrant, fresh flavoured North Highland groups of malt. Highland Park is a medium bodied whisky with a heathery aroma. | | SEE IT |

The true hedonists of the world freeze their Gold Label for 24 hours to release its light fruity flavours and true honey sweetness, as the whisky warms in the mouth. Blended at Spencerfield Farm in Fife, surrounded by fields of wheat and barley and overlooking the Firth of Forth, Sheep Dip was created by Richard Paterson, Scotland's renowned and only third generation master blender. It is made from several single malt whiskies, aged between eight and twelve years in quality "first fill wood, " each adding unique characteristics. Sheep Dip has a delicate and refined nose, with the taste a majestic assertion of pure malty flavours drawn from the four distilling regions of Scotland. The name commemorates the days when farmers distilled their own whisky and in order to avoid paying taxes to the revenue man, hid it in barrels marked "sheep dip". | | SEE IT |
