Made by the UK's leading manufacturer of organic pocket sprung mattresses. The Ultimate Kingsbridge 1200 uses individual pocket springs that are hand nested into the firm edge frame. Our frame is then reinforced with resilient organic coir edging and wrapped in natural hessian to make a superior and long lasting core to the mattress. The springs are then encased with natural fibres for extra comfort support and ventilation. Horsehair needled on to a hessian backing protects the pocket springs from wear against the natural fibre tuftings and gives extra spring and flex to the mattress. We use a selection of luxurious natural fibres such as organic coir cashmere bamboo organic wool and latex within the mattress which ensure an unrivalled level of support and comfort.The Kingsbridge has 2 pure cotton covers the outer is zipped onto the mattress so it can be removed if required. It’s treated with natural geraniol that renders it anti bed bug. In addition to Naturalmat mattress covers being anti bed bug this mattress contains Soil Association certified organic wool that is anti dust mite anti moth and anti mosquito. This is achieved through a treatment of essential oils including lemon eucalyptus and lavender which is added to the lambswool during the scouring process in Devon using water from the River Dart.
